About the book...

Granny Square Flair is an all new collection of 50 variations on the classic 6" square crochet motif. With innovative techniques and inventive combinations of basic stitches, Granny Square Flair is an essential addition to every crochet reference library.

Each of the 50 square patterns is presented in both chart form and in round-by-round instructions, so you can work in the way that suits you best. I include full explanations of special stitches, along with tips for finishing your project beautifully. Every square is shown in 3 distinctive colour ways, inspiring your own colour exploration

Granny Square Flair is not just a reference book. I have included full instructions for 11 beautiful projects made with motifs from the book. I also walk you through using the patterns to design your own projects, including estimating yarn requirements, combining patterns and colour inspiration.

Whether you make multiples of one pattern for an elegant cushion, or combine all 50 patterns for a spectacular sampler blanket, Granny Square Flair will be your indispensable crochet companion.

Granny Square Flair

Hi only received my GSF pattern book recently. Finishing off another project before attempting this. I have been reading it though and cant wait to begin my first square. Its very well presented and easy to understand which is perfect for me as I am fairly new to crochet. Thanks Shelley for sharing your beautiful designs and creations. Jenny

Love the patterns in this book.

Gave this copy for a friend as I had already got it from Amazon (Oops didn’t realise it was the same one 🤭)

Book review

What a great book with clear, easy to understand instructions. The stars to signify how hard the squares are to crochet was really useful too.
