About the pattern...

Perfect for a quick gift, this cute little coaster pattern came about after my workmate Chrissy made a whole lemon meringue pie for me for morning tea! That kind of thing needs a proper thank you and so I made a set of these for her in return in her favourite colour – purple!

Use up your left over bits of yarn and made someone happy.

Quick, easy and pretty

This is a lovely, easy pattern and a great way to use up scrap yarn. I'll be making more 😀

Perfect Coaster Pattern

I used Rowan Cotton Glacé and they knit up beautifully. I added a Slip Stitch on the backside that gave the coasters a really fine finish.

Novice crocheted is finally achieving results

I have failed every time I tried to crochet even though I am proficient at knitting.

With this pattern and link to YouTube, I have now done the first phase of 15 coasters! I now feel confident to approach the next ring in the pattern, as have clearly mastered the first.

Wish me luck.....
