Manderley Crochet Blanket Pattern

Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again

Such a wonderful opening line from the book Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

My next big blanket project is called the Manderley Crochet Blanket Pattern after the estate in the book.  The house is surrounded by giant rhododendron bushes and so the very floral look of this design fits the name well.

As soon as your payment goes through, you will received the a link to download the full pattern.

The full pattern has;

  • charts and written patterns for all 3 squares and the border in both UK & US terms
  • video for all rounds of all patterns, including mirrored videos for left handed folks
  • a full glossary of all stitches and techniques
  • extensive, very detailed help with close up and round by round photos
  • 2 layout options with help how to plan your own layout
  • 3 colour options with yardage for each in 3 yarn weights

Blanket Size;

4 ply 46"/117 cm

8 ply 58"/148 cm

Absolutely stunning patterns

These are absolutely beautiful patterns, I wish the step by step colour stitch tutorials were next to each round? It’s very difficult on an ebook to go back and forth, hence why it’s delayed my start and I’m also waiting for my delivery from BWM

As I self taught myself I’m very much a visual learner

I can’t wait to start on some of th designs and would highly recommend this wonderful group

Marvelous Manderley

The pattern instructions are very clear & you can choose US or UK terms. I prefer to work in US terms but I learnt to read patterns in UK terms. The squares in the book are so versatile. The scallops are just divine. There are yardage amounts for 10, 8 & 4 ply yarns. It is just a lovely versatile pattern & easy to follow with lots of photos & hints/tips. So far I have made a few of the Danvers squares for a throw for our group's charity CAL.
